I have a passion for Nutrition that started at a young age following a family health scare resulting in an overhaul in the quality of our food at home. It was then that the concept of what we feed our bodies could heal or harm us created a passion in me that took root: food was more than just something we consume during the day and had a greater impact on our bodies than just how they look; that we truly are what we eat. I learned that foods, in their whole, most simplest form, closest to how nature intended, can help support the body to function optimally. After becoming a mother (twice!), I found a second passion: feeding babies the way our bodies were designed. While breastfeeding is the most natural way to nourish our babies, it didn’t come naturally to me. The empathetic and nurturing care I received had such an impact on me, I knew I needed to help other mothers this way too.

I live on a small homestead in northern Cecil County with a garden, chickens, apple trees, berry bushes, and more. When I'm not working with clients or on the homestead, I enjoy spending my days with my husband and our three boys.
Using a detailed history that you provide before our initial 90-minute session and a combination of blood chemistry and functional labs, I work with you by identifying areas of your health that could benefit from targeted, personalized support to restore balance in the body. Together, we determine the best dietary, herbal, and supplemental approach towards your optimal health.
For my lactation clients, I work with mothers, partners, and babies to support client-identified breastfeeding goals, proper latch positioning, supply concerns, milk expression education and planning for mothers returning to work, and prenatal and early postpartum education, and assisting with acute breastfeeding concerns.
